Disk full message when uploading files

Post by *Jacco »

Hello!

Because I really like Total Commander I like to solve a problem I recently ran into. This is the situation:

When I try to upload a 'big' zip file (app. 10 Mb) with Total Commander to a Samba server, first Windows XP SP 1 gives a nice 'balloon-message' in the task bar with the text "delayed write failed" followed by a message "Disk full" from Total Commander. But when I perform the same task within Windows XP (using the standard windows explorer) it works fine! Does anyone know why and how to solve this?

ps. I already uploaded the latest Firmware to my Linksys router. This didn't helped either (I read this somewhere in the forum...)
ps2. I also have the latest Total Commander installed (6.01). In the older version I didn't even get the "Disk Full" message...

Kind regards,
Jacco

Try using compatibility mode for that drive. I don't know why my copy function doesn't work with some drives, it's a very simple loop with just ReadFile and WriteFile...
