Thanks for the update.
BTW I think there's a typo in 'tc all keys english.cedf'. Line 242 contains a (bad) duplicate of OldStyleTree.
edit: The same at line 266 with PreloadThumbnails.

It would be nice if there was a Restart TC button in the History Editor (and any other editor if it makes sense). You can't edit the History without 1st closing TC and then after you edit it, you have to manually re-launch TC.

All UTC Editors has Save and Restart Total Commander command in the file menu

in the help file (History Editor) there are 2 hints about this
- You don't have to restart Total Commander to apply changes you did it in all sections except for the following sections:
Command Line
Left Tabs
Right Tabs
- Be sure that Total Commander is not running while saving changes you did in the following three sections, otherwise you will lose these changes when you close Total Commander.

Left Tabs
Right Tabs

I found 2 bugs, related to new redirect feature.
1. In my wincmd.ini I have key
AlternateUserIni=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wincmd_%USERNAME%.ini
And TC uses file C:\TC\wincmd_Alex.ini for me.
UTC Editors don't resolve variable %USERNAME% and try to work with file
C:\TC\wincmd_%USERNAME%.ini
2. UTC Editor don't use defaults for redirected/not redirected sections.
For example, my [Packer] section don't have key 'RedirectSection'.
TC do not redirect thes section by default and use wincmd.ini for it.
Configuration Editor don't show any value for this section, only grayed default values.
When I add key 'RedirectSection=0' to this section, Configuration Editor show values correctly.
Same with all other sections. UTC Editor show them correctly only if they have key 'RedirectSection'. |
