The internal file lister doesn't display last line correctly

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Hello,

The internal file lister doesn't display last line correctly.
Here is an example of document (Greasemonkey script):
http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/50955.user.js

Steps:
-Save content from link above
-Press F3 on saved file.
-Scroll down with mouse scroll/ arrow.

What do you mean by "not correctly"? Can you put screenshot somewhere?

Everything seems to be fine here with or without wordwrap.

On the other hand I know that lister might have some problems with files containing very long lines and your script is one of them. but I assume the source of your problem might be
"When we created the poke, we thought it would be cool to have a feature without any specific purpose." Facebook...

Hi,

Down left corner. It looks like half height of line is displayed:

I'm not seeing what you are seeing. It looks the same in Lister as it does in EditPlus, as far as format goes.
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?

:) Hello !

• No problem either here in Lister, the last lines are shown normally as expected :

}
}
})();
- Same in Universal Viewer and two honest text editors… 8)

I can confirm using mouse wheel scroll only. With PgDn all is ok.

tested in PB5 and PB7 under WinXP SP3 rus

The same in TC7.04a indeed. ;)
I would not say it`s a problem. Just press PgDn.

Mouse is OK

:) Hello !

• That's OK here even using the mouse-wheel to scroll the page, also grabbing the scroll-bar cursor
with the mouse and pushing it to the bottom…
… PgeDown… Down arrow… From the scroll-bar right-click menu…All work !
Both in 7.5 PB7 and 7.04a.

It can be interesting that this behaviour is reproducible only on WinXP SP3 (at least for me) . Just tested Win98, Win2000, WinXP SP2. WinXP SP2 was unfortunately installed on a notebook, so I`m not shure that scroll mechanism was the same as on desktop.

And yes, I confirm the last screenshot from _Jan_ unclusive the duplicating on the top and the bottom of the screen.

I can reproduce it with the provided file http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/50955.user.js
But only when wordwrap was enabled. Without wordwrap it shows correctly.

I tested some other files on my computer and could not reproduce it with those.

I am using Windows XP home SP3

I tried it both ways, with word wrap on and off and it still shows fine for me. I have a ws monitor so that might be the reason.

I have a widescreen monitor too (1920x1200)

It seems to be also related to the font used. I can only reproduce it with 'ANSI (Windows charset)' or 'ASCII (DOS charset)' selected, not with 'Variable char width' selected (default TC font configuration).

And when i resize window (stretch down or up) the text becomes visible or unvisible. So it is also depends on lister window height.

Sorry, this behaviour cannot be changed: The line starting with "var css =" is extremely long, longer than the maximum of 4000 characters which Lister will look for a line break before giving up. Therefore this will work OK only in Binary mode.
