Should TC change the default font from 'bold' to 'normal'?

Well, it's the FIRST thing I always change when installing TC. Some friends of mine said that after the way I configured it, it was working *really* way faster than the standard default settings.

And I read in some other topic a few users about the GUI of TC. In Windows XP, Silver Theme, I don't see any reason why to upgrade the looks, becaues they are great Very Happy

But that bold typeface which is used by default for viewing the files... No matter what kind of GUI you use, it's sooooooo ugly. And harder to read, too Smile

So: do you think this should be different by default, or not?

The bad thing about Luna Silver is the active title bar is dark grey and the inactive title bar is light gray - not very ergonomic from my point of view.

Well, I never was looking at that Smile

I always check where the 'cursor' (the dotted rectangle) is. Since I hardly never use the mouse Smile

Well, I just tried it - to me the default Bold face is much easier to read, and I have reached the age where I need glasses to read the screen

I also think it looks nicer in Bold. But maybe that's because I have been using TC/WC for so long (since 1993) that to me: that's the way it has to look.

So you don't get my wote on this one - sorry.

Hi petermad,

I don't need glasses yet but I also prefer the bold style Laughing

I tried different font in normal but still I prefer the default ... I'm also using it for so long with this font config that it appear so strange when I change it.

Very Happy Hello, bonjour!
Sad I need glasses, hence I voted against the change too (a while ago!)
Mr. Green Kind regards to everybody,
