Thank you very much for doing this test. Most of these results are quite understandable.

Quote:
-Windows Photo Viewer (Error: This function cannot be used with packed files!)?

Where you inside an archive when you tried this?

Quote:
-Default Button Bar (doesn't work - my default bar is in the main dir like no.bar) maybe this: %COMMANDER_PATH%\default.bar ?

TC's installer puts default.bar in the same directory as wincmd.ini by default, because then the chance that default.bar can be written to is the best - so that is why I use the same location. Where do you have your wincmd.ini file placed?

Which icons in the button bars can you not see?

Yes my ini is in different localization

@edit:

Icons:
Windows 7 bar:
-Control Panel (Windows Anytime Upgrade, Flash, Divx, Intel, Realtek)
-Program & Accessories (Windows Anytime Upgrade)
-Windows powershell (Windows PowerShell ISE (x86))
-Windows Live (all)
-Microsoft Security Essentials (all=1)
why there is 2 space icons before Windows Live? (bug?)

Control Panel bar:
-Windows Anytime Upgrade
-Flash
-Divx
-Intel
-Realtek

Thank you very much for testing this also. The missing Icons are to be expected - since it is the same programs you missed in the menu.

That is just to indicate that the 2 next menus are programs that are free, but not included in a standard Windows 7 installation.

The errors you found will be corrected for the next official beta (5) see first post in this thread.

I don't see how I can make it any clearer - it states the version of TC and the version of Windows.

Under Windows 7 x64 you can run both TC 8 x64 and TC 8 32bit - hence two different versions for Windows 7 x64 - because a lot of programs in the menu has to be opened from different directories depending of whether you are using TC 8 or TC 8 x64 there has to be separate versions.

I don't touch default.bar - I only install extra button bars.

Hello Mr. petermad, thank you so much for these. Very helpful menus and I've learned a lot of what can be done in TC through your menus. Cheers.
