Ok, thought about a couple of things that would make tc better.

1 - Can it check a zip / tar / img file and display its MD5 hash ?

Would be very handy when downloading files to Flash on rooted devices.

2 - Could a button be developed to Syncronise the contents of two folders ?

I have a Xoom therefore Internal Storage and SD Card (as admin knows well with the problems I had with it).

I would like to keep some data on Internal Storage backed up on the SD Card. Whilst I can copy the source directory and can then choose to overwrite all newer files of the same filename, it would be excellent if a new feature could be developed that:

Compares source and destination folders and copies everything in source that isn't in destination, updates the destination copy if the source copy is newer and then deletes anything in destination that is not in source.

There are other md5 checkers on the market so I assume this one is reasonably easy to do. No idea about a Syncronisation feature mind you Smile

Cheers,

Unfortunately neither function is currently supported. If you just want to copy newer files only, start copying as normal, then choose to overwrite older files only.
