I discovered this font (Abadi MT) a couple of months back and for me it's simply the best-looking condensed font out there (I compared it to 20+ other fonts), displaying very well with ClearType, too. It has taken over more and more of the space-critical positions on my system (TC file list, PowerPro bars etc.) and I also use it in Word a lot when I want to save paper by squeezing more of a document onto a page while maintaining high readability.
If you can get your hands on it, by all means, give it a try. |

| I only use a 14 inch laptop so on TC, i use the default fonts, style and size. If I were on a larger display, I'm sure my choices would change. |

... and sorry once again. I guess that eyes of many TC users have already been impaired irrecoverably by TC's default font... |
Couldn't agree more. Bold font looks ugly and it's not suitable for a modern Windows application. The first thing I do after TC installation (and after each resolution change, arghhh) is changing it to Tahoma plain. _________________ Cezariusz Marek

That's some users opinion... I use different colors for different file types, or file dates, or file content, and it is very difficult to distinguish colored fonts if they are NOT bold - so I prefer bold - also easier to read. _________________ #524

Microsoft (not MS) Sans Serif, 8 (supports ClearType).
But the font, as long as it supports ClearType, isn't that important.
Adding a MinLineHeight of -4 is what makes panel items completely readable. _________________ 0penware.com - A blog of software, devices and ideas. |

Yes, this must be a bug.
Also missing: Klingon user interface language...
