When I tap an mp3 file I can choose to use the standard music player - launching a sort of preview bar- or PlayerPro -that does launch a full player window, but in both cases hitting the home button or letting the screen go dark the music stops. That means the only thing I can do is to 'sit out the ride' unable to open any other app or setting.
Hope this isn't an Android limitation.
Next step would be the ability to send a (set of) folder(s) or files to a music player.

Unfortunately this seems to be a limitation of Android when the file is opened from outside of the player. Try launching the player and opening the file from within. _________________ Author of Total Commander
