|
|
0. Prerequisite: there should be at least one custom columns set defined.
1. Open Configuration dialog, Custom columns page.
2. Double-click on any custom columns set to edit it.
3. Press the Esc key to close the dialog.
4. Click once on any page name in the left column with the list of Configuration pages.
5. The Configuration page is not opened, the click is just ignored. The second click works fine.
This is reproduced in TC 64-bit only. _________________ Flint's Homepage: Full TC Russification Package, VirtualDisk, NTFS Links, NoClose Replacer, other stuff!

I can confirm it.
Plus, in step #2, you don't have to open a custom columns set, you can double-click anywhere in that list. However, the double-clicking (to create a new set) doesn't work in TCx32 at all - maybe that's why it can't be reproduced there. _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

I can confirm Flint's report for TC 8.01RC1 x64 under Windows 7.

Where do you double click to create a new set?
Here, double clicking a custom column set opens it for EDITING - and that also works in 32 bit TC both under Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP.
BTW - the line height in the list of custom column sets is much bigger in the 64bit version - I prefer the way it looks in the 32 bit version. _________________ #524

Again, I was talking about the ability to create a set by double-clicking on the empty space. _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

Aha - I have too many custom column sets - so even if I scrool to the bottom and double click at the half of line of empty space I see, TC opens the curently highlighted set, not a new one.
But with fresh inii-file I can confirm that 64bit version opens new custom column set when double clicking on the empty space - and that 32bit TC doesn't offer that feature. _________________ #524

I've created a new topic about the "double-click creates a new set" issue, since it may or may not be related to the original bug. _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

It's the usual Lazarus double click bug, which was bothering us also in the main window (when launching a program by double click). I will use the same workaround (post a message to the dialog and then react to that message only). _________________ Author of Total Commander
