Confirmed.
I doesn't matter how you use cm_EditPath - a Shortcut, a Button in the button bar, a Menu item in the main meny, or from the command line - it all gives the access violation.
It applies to TC8.01RC2 both 32bit and 64bit version under both Win 7 x64 and Win XP.
Maybe it has something to do with the new button in the Edit path - it is not present in TC 8.01RC1. _________________ #524

Hi, folks.
The crash is triggered by the InplaceOkButton in the current directory bar. If InplaceOkButton=0, i.e. the clickable button has been disabled, cm_EditPath will not cause any access violation.

Tested on
+ Ubuntu 10.04 32-bit with Wine 1.2.3 pretending to be Windows XP
+ Total Commander 8.01 rc2
--
+ Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit with Wine 1.4 pretending to be Windows XP
+ Total Commander 8.01 rc2 x64
Kind regards,
Karl

Hi, MVV.
To be honest, I just verified petermad's tentative hypothesis | Quote: | | Maybe it has something to do with the new button in the Edit pact - it is not present in TC 8.01RC1. |
Cheers,
