it's annoying back and fro selecting file in dir with a lot of files in it.

you'll have to scroll....... select, scroll....... go up, Mad

You can use your device's "back" button to go up one level.

how about refresh then? in ftp or SMB, you have to refresh to get the latest file list

You can add a button to the secondary button bar. Select the second type of commands, "Internal Commands", then tap on >> and choose command Nr. 118, Refresh.

that will do, thanks.

Would you please make all tool-button customizable, including the default ones? I found I use my custom button way more often than those regular ones, and now my custom buttons is more than 5, I need to slide to select the demanding buttons

Sorry, no. The 6 default buttons are all essential, including the pack button - it's used for plugins during a plugin connection, and the only way to disconnect e.g. from FTP.
