|
|
Hello,
I have set Quick search - Letters with search dialog - and when I use quick search, I cannot delete selected file/folder (delete key). I must click to the selected file/folder and press key Delete.
Open file is OK (Enter key) |

I don't understand. Where is the bug? When you have the quick search dialog open, you can edit the search pattern - that includes deleting some letters from it. Either stop using that dialog, or press Esc when you find what you want to close the dialog. _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

I thought, that Delete key has same behaviour as Enter key. Maybe not.
Sorry for topic. |

No harm done. Enter is the standard key for opening/executing a selected file. F8 is the standard key for deleting it. The 'Delete' key is just for convenience. _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

Indeed the delete key is needed to delete single characters or selected text from quick search - just use the cursor left key and then delete to test it. The F8 key does work also when the quick search dialog is up. _________________ Author of Total Commander
