I started recently using Total Commander and i want to ask if it is possible to have vertical button bar between the two panes?

I wouldn't say useless, someone might like it. But currently it's not supported.

I don't think it is a useless idea and i am surprised that the most popular file manager doesn't have this option.

I wouldn't say it's useless. Back in the days when i was hopping from one file manager to another this was one feature that i looked for. Nowadays though, i wouldnt be using it. I dont even have a button bar. Though I admit, my custom menu's getting crowded. Laughing
