[Bug] Edit shell command button

Post by *Xtrician »

Hello,
I set shell button with sh command (i tried with su too).
And when i type any parameter and save the button, and then i want to edit it, the parameter disappeared.

TC 2.04
LG G2, 4.4.2 Stock Rom, Doesn't rooted.

Strange, doesn't happen here. Here is what I tried:
1. Tap on button to add new button
2. Set function type to "Send shell command"
3. Left command unchanged: sh
4. Set parameters to: *ls
5. Confirmed with OK
6. Tapped on button to test shell command
7. Long tapped on button and then on "Properties"
-> The parameters are there, complete.

What did you do differently? Device NOT rooted, Android 4.2.2.

Unfortunately I can't - just tried on my Nexus 7 (2012) with stock Androud 4.4.2. :(

Does this happen only with shell commands, or also with other command types when you have something in the parameters field?

I just tested "Funktionstyp: Interner Befehl" / "Befehl: 102 Suchen" / "Parameter: test". Long tapping on the button + Eigenschaften (settings) shows the the parameter "test" again. "Funktionstyp: An Programm senden" shows also the parameter.

BTW: The sh command works with the parameter as expected. But I can't edit the parameter.
