Double click on Folder: shows Icon / Little green arrow ?

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Double click on Folder: shows Icon / Little green arrow ?

Post by *Buttercreme »

Only in TC 32bit I´ve got the behavior that after double clicking a directory the same icon appears [for under a second] like for copying files into this directory via drag'n'drop. It is the new icon with the green arrow.

This isn't a bug! In older TC versions, TC showed an open folder icon. Since TC is now using standard windows icons and there isn't a standard open folder icon, it shows a small green arrow as an overlay when the folder is open. You can see this also in the separate tree.

Understood. I was wondering that on my PC at work it is displayed and at home it is not.
So if you can see the icon or not depends on the PC/network performance?

It depends on how long it takes to read the folder - even on a very fast PC, reading a folder with several 100'000 files can take a while.
