Wrong icon for network drives

Post by *HoogendoornJH »

I upgraded from version 8.52a to version 9.0a. I have two network drives connected. The drive buttons of these drives in the drive button bar are now displayed as disconnected drives, while they a still accessible. Why is that so?

TC gets the connected state from Windows. It usually means that the drive is configured but not connected at the time the icons were loaded. Clicking on the drive should change the icon to connected, though.

When I click on the icon, the content of the drive appears, but the icon remains the same. The problem appeared after upgrading from version 8.52a to 9.0a. Seems there is a difference between 8.52a and 9.0a in getting the state from Windows.

TC 9 gets the drive icons from Explorer. You can switch to the old drive icons if this disturbs you:
Configuration - Option - Icons - uncheck: Show drive icons from Explorer.
