BUG: WebDav plugin not wokring on Android 7.1.2

Post by *juxeii »

Hi,

I've just flashed the new Android 7.1.2 on my Nexus5X.
After installing TC and the WebDav plugin(2.11) I tried to create a WebDav server entry.
Everything works when I'm on WLAN.
But when switching off WLAN and turning on the mobile connection(LTE), the plugin asks me to turn on WLAN, since it has no internet connection?!(The German message begins with "Keine Internetverbindung! Bitte schalten Sie entweder WLAN ein, oder deaktivieren Sie den FlugModus...").
This message appears also for 4G,UMTS etc.

It seems that the plugin does not see when the mobile connection is enabled on Android 7.1.2.
I think this is a bug, since everything has worked on Android 7.1.1.
Can someone confirm this?

Thx,
Juergen

Edit: I also tried the option "Verbindung via Telefon..." under settings, but it makes no difference.

This isn't a bug - you need to allow connections via Phone in the settings of the plugin (entry with the hammer symbol).

Hi,

I have 3 entries in the settings dialog:
1) Über/Versionsinformation
2) Lizenzen
3) (Allgemeine Einstellungen)Verbindungen via Telefon...

As already mentioned, the 3rd option does not resolve the issue.
When trying to connect via phone, a popup spins for a while, then disappears.
Please help, a WebDav connection only via WLAN is almost useless for me.

Thx,
Jürgen

Hi,

sorry for this post. I had issues with the Firewall and Certificates.
Now everything works.

Thx,
