TC shows less disk capacity / free than Windows Explorer

I noticed in Windows 7, that TC shows less total disk capacity and free space, than Windows Explorer. The difference is about 1.5 GB.
How is it possible?

I highly doubt that. Verify that you're checking the same drive, and don't mix up the units (KB vs. KiB).
