[BUG] PCRE plugin blocks filters in synchronize directories

Post by *Nux »

Steps:
  1. Open sync dirs (I use a shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+F2)
  2. In "Show:" group click on left arrow button (of right arrow).
Result:
No change in button state.

System:
Windows 7 x64. TC 9.0a

Had to remove the PCRE plugin form TC for this to start working.

Which PCRE plug-in do you mean?
I assume my PCREsearch, since you recently asked about it.

In any case, you should give a more complete description of your settings, e.g. did you use the sync tool's plug-in compare function? Which file types were affected or at least how big were the files you tried to compare. (it would of course take a while for big files, but you should at least see some progress in the status bar on the very bottom of the sync tool).
And maybe also a screenshot will help. And do you use TC x64 or TC 32-bit?
TC plugins: PCREsearch and RegXtract

Yes, that's the plugin I meant. Strange thing is the plugin wasn't even active. No plugin was active at the moment. It was disabled with a checkbox.

Thing is I didn't even started comparing and filters didn't work. The buttons just didn't work. No matter their state I was not able to change their state. Restarting TC didn't help either.

Only unistalling PCRE plugin and restarting TC helped. I like the plugin a lot, but seems it doesn't like my Windows 7 ;-).
And do you use TC x64 or TC 32-bit?
TC x64. But I also use TC x64 on Windows 10 and the plugin works fine.

Where was the thread where someone complained no buttons in Sync Dirs worked?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
