Post by *DaPaleRider »

Hi,

Is it possible to use branch view (Ctrl+B) with only folders?

The branch view shows all files in a folder tree.
A filter of only dirs is possible but leads to an empty list of course.
But you can use a search with the dir attribute set and get all dirs.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1375a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.3, Listary Pro 6.3.0.78
QAP 11.6.3.3 x64

Maybe for the future implementation.

FreeCommander have the same feature set including the option to list only folders. It would be a great addition to Total commander for my daily work.

Make a search with the Dir attribute set and store it under Load/Save
with a name you like.
Create a button with the command LOADSEARCH using your named search as parameter.

ALT-F10 gives you the Directory-Tree; you only need to update it yourself.

This is in no way a list of directories.
You can't feed the result to a listbox or any other operation.
In old TC days without Everything it was the fast way to go to some directory.
