OneDrive Folders Icons Problem Windows Fall Creator Update

Post by *fc62 »

My Laptop recently updated to the new realease of Windows 10 Fall Creator. With this version, within file explorer the files present in OneDrive have an additional column called "State" where it's indicated the condition of the file (File available only online, file present in the computer, syncronization state).
After this Windows update, the visualization in TC of all Icons folders (Only Folders, Not files) appears with little white rectangul with a black arrow in lower left position of the icons. It's very boring and so I would like to know how it's possible to eliminate it.
Thanks

Yes, I'm talking about the folder icon with a small link arrow. Before updating Windows, the display of folder icons did not have this small link. Is it possible to delete it? For me it is really annoying.

Yes, there is currently no function on Windows to get the state of folders. They are stored as special file system links (junctions). There is a function for files to determine whether a file is available locally or only remotely. TC shows a cloud icon for the latter.
