Auto sort or list large folders

Post by *sorex »

Hello,

Is there a way to list let's say the larges folder on the drive without going through all folders and press space to calculate the size?

I thought Calculate Occupied Space did this but it's general disk info only :?

There's also this DirSizeCalc plugin (?http://www.lefteous.de/tc/dirsizecalc_eng.htm) but I guess it's the same feature as pressing space in the latter versions

Total Commander provides an in-built shortcut (Shift+Alt+Enter).
When using DirSizeCalc you should use one of the background fields.

Press [Shift]+[Alt]+[Enter] in the desired root and the size of all subfolders will be calculated and displayed instead of [DIR].

When you enable 'Configuration->Otions->Display:Sorting Directories:like files(also by time)' you will be able to sort the directories by size.

Or just put the command cm_CountDirContent on a button like I do.
