Synchronize directories accross a network (Program Files)

Dose anyone know how to synchronize program files directories accross a network.

This particular program file directory has a database file in it that needs to be synchronised between two computers.

the only trouble is the network wont allow me to view program file directories on another computer, even if I try to share that directoriy.

I know this is mainly a windows security issue but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

check the NTFS permissions before you share and also the share permissions... they'r different things...
