printing filelist give "mirror" print

Post by *ddfc »

problem:

has selected a treelist

opned directories to make a good dirlist inventory of dvd

when printing i get a mirrorerd text, thats if u see the txt in the mirror
is right but not in print, so the word "ghisler" is printed "relsigh"

when printing in ms word all is correct, and also test print.

to get a result i can choose mirror text in the printer menu but the the dirlist get the first line last... eg:
antartica
vangelis(dicography)
waterloo
abba
d:\

any can help ?

PS printer is a brother 1340 (laser)

My first q since 3,51...

Good evening, ddfc.

It struck me immediately I had read some similar problem report in this forum, just could not remember where and when.
The forum search for "brother" refeshed my bad memory.

Please read this thread: Prints File List backwards & upsidedown.
It looks as if some Brother printer drivers are somewhat buggy.

Hope the thread helps.

Indeed some Brother printer drivers don't implement the LowMetric mode (measurements in Millimeters) correctly. The Lowmetric mode as well as the other Wysiwyg (What you see is what you get) modes have the coordinate origin at the lower left corner. The pixels mode has the origin at the upper left corner. So if they don't consider that, the image will be upside down.
