TC Hanging during FTP file transfer?
I have no problems pushing alot of files thru my GoDaddy.com servers but I have another client and their server always causes TC to stop pushing the files after a certain time. Directory is only about 11 megs. In the log file it says try passive mode but I did and TC still lock up and I have to press cancel and start over again but it always locks up, I tird CuteFTP Pro and it pushed everything over no problem.....I'm using 6.54a......here's part of log below.........

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
That's probably right because I see here after each CWD command a PASV command (when I'm on passiv mode) what is missed im the quoted log.I guess he hasn't activated passive mode successfully. Maybe he set passive mode as default but the connection is still set to active mode.

whiskey3,
How do you connect to an FTP server? By pressing Ctrl-N or Ctrl-F?
If Ctrl-N, you have to set "Use passive mode by default" in Configuration - Options - FTP.
If Ctrl-F you have to edit the connection's properties and tick "Use passive mode for transfers".
