I use eraser to do that. Here you can find Hacker's explainations how to configure it to delete several files in one click.
Me too (like you can see in the mentioned thread), but MacQ asked for a plugin.
Yes I know Eraser. Found it just a couple of days ago. I'll stick with it. It's nice.

I also found a plugin for unerasing (undeleting) data for TC. But it says, that it only undeletes files from FAT file systems.
When I was trying out Servant Salamander it had a plugin that found deleted files on my NTFS disks. Didn't try to undelete them though.

See also the page I told to see for szlori. There's a link to Back2Life2.3, which should support NTFS according to its descpirtion.
B2L is shareware.

There are free solutions as well like Restoration:

and DataRecovery:
http://tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/dr.html

and PC Inspector File Recovery:
http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm

For wiping you can also use commandline tool SDelete from Sysinternals:

Total Commander 6.54 uses version 2.6.0.0. On the WinACE homepage you can find a news message:

Zitat:
March 8th, 2006
WinAce 2.61 is now available for download.
The new version fixes a possible exploit concerning a buffer overflow in maliciously manipulated ARJ-Archives.

Total Commander 6.54 has been released on February 16.
No there isn't, but this doesn't affect neither unacev2.dll nor Total Commander, because it's a bug in Winace about ARJ archives, not ACE archives! Total Commander uses its own internal code to unpack ARJ archives.

2.6.0.0 is the latest version of the unacev2.dll, and this version is included in TC 6.54 and 6.54a.
