Sorry, I didn't receive it. Sad

Did you attach the plugins? It seems that my virus filter deletes some messages with attached zip files. Please send me only links, no files.

No, I've not attached any files.

I've re-sent the forms for both anytag.wlx and anytag.wdx again and used your support email adress this time.

Best regards,
~ Florian

Hi fnheiden,
Please test this mp3 file.

[deleted]

I found that apev2 has the highest priority level, when anytag (wlx & wdx) detected apev2 Identification it will ignore ID3v2 and ID3v1 info even if there are no any apev2 tag info in mp3 or other media files.

Yes, APEv2 has highest priority, then ID3v2, then ID3v1. This is by design and won't be changed.

I dont' know exactly what you mean with "these 2 variables", but maybe your ID3v2 tag is stored in Unicode. anytag.wlx doesn't support Unicode at the moment.

TC told me that some dll is probably missing Sad
Installation by hand hasn't given any result - no mp3s can be viewed, they are shown as binary.
After I've installed it with TCPlugman the detectstring appeared in wincmd.ini, but it hasn't changed anything...

Am I doing something wrong? (The plugin was downloaded from your site, its md5 sum is
6d43645a2deab3ccad331304c5445287 )

Meh, it seems like you have to copy the HTMLayout.dll to the Total Commander program directory.

Now works, thanks. But this must be in readme also Smile
Or, better, the plugin should use that dll, which is in its own folder.

You should load DLLs manually if they come with your plugin. This is quite easy:
- use GetModuleFileName to find out the location of your plugin
- use LoadLibrary to load the DLL
- use GetProcAddress to load the functions needed

I tried to use $ansi function in anytag.any, as described in readme, this way:
Code:
   <tr>
      <td>$ansi(Título):</td>
      <td>%title%</td>
   </tr>

and this way:
Code:
   <tr>
      <td>Comentario:</td>
      <td>$ansi(%comment%)</td>
   </tr>

but i see "TÃtulo" instead of "Título", and "ésta" instead of "ésta".
I guess i'm doing something wrong, but can't figure what.
Thanks for any help:

Triple bug report for you Smile
For anytag_wdx, anytag_wlx and MP3Tag.

Suppose I have an mp3 with two tags: id3v1 & id3v2;
The "author" field is in Russian and is badly displayed in most mp3-players IF it is stored in id3v2, but if I store it in id3v1 (it's short enough to fit there), all is OK.
But the song title is too long for id3v1 and it is completely in English. So I store it in id3v2.

So the "title" field is present in id3v2 and is not present in id3v1.
And the "author" field is present in id3v1, but not in id3v2.

But all mentioned utilities show only Id3V2 entries! They seem to load only id3v2 (if there's no ape tag) and do not take into account any info from id3v1.

Please, can you correct this behaviour?
I mean that if you load a tag and don't see some field there, you should look for it im less priority tag.

Edit: ah, forgot to say that Winamp shows tags from such files right.

I'll try to add select and copy to the next release.

2ghisler
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll change it to the next release

2facinlaburo
UTF-8 display will be fixed with the next release.

2XPEHOPE3KA
This is by design and is unlikely to be changed.

Kind regards,
Florian
