[Extensions]

Post by *sas2000 »

In "[Extensions]" section of my wincmd.ini i have multiple lines that launch the same program.
wp=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
sam=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
mdb=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
ami=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
lwp=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
dbf=C:\Archivos de programa\Quick View Plus\PROGRAM\qvp32.exe
Is it possible to join all these lines as we can do in "[Colors]" section ?.
ColorFilter12=*.doc;*.pdf;*.txt;*.hlp;*.rtf;*.wp;*.sam;*.lwp;*.sxw;*.wri;*.odt
ColorFilter12Color=16744448
BTW, is there a maximum line length in wincmd.ini ? . Thanks.

No there isn't. What would be the advantage?

I guess, it would be easier to edit it manually. And because it will reduce the size of wincmd.ini.
F6, Enter, Tab, F6, Enter, Tab, F6, Enter, Tab... - I like to move IT, move IT!..

That's exactly the problem, with ~10 extensions per viewer it will be easier to edit them if all extensions are in only one line.

Anybody knows if is there a maximum line length in wincmd.ini ?. Thanks.

Maybe this is a little more difficult to implement, cause you have to parse the entire line and split the strings, but not that hard. It's just a matter of reducing .ini file size and clear the understanding of the setting. I think Ghisler could do the changes as it was proposed by sas2000
