remembering file size when split?

remembering file size when split?

when U winrar an multi-volume archive, it remembers the size U customized/input.
but when i split a file in TC, i have to remember the size(figure) everytime

• What do you mean exactly ?

- Do you want to create a multi-volume archive in TC >> Pack files or SPLIT a big file into fractions ???
- If you split a file, TC creates a CRC checksum, thus the size is saved.

• Like Lefteous tells elsewhere here today, the English wording in TC needs a fine-tuning, it's really too confusing…

when i said split, i did mean split, not multi-volume archiving.
i'd like the size to be there when i split a second file, being asked what the size would be.

Although I don't use the split function often
I think this request could be justified.

You can anyway easily select on of the predefined values from the combo,
but need to type in the custom size again...
So it would be helpful to be remembered by TC.
