I have searched for HTTP error 12153, it's the following one:
ERROR_HTTP_INVALID_HEADER

This error means that the server sent a response which was not understood by the HTTP client. My guess is that your friend is running an outdated version of Internet Explorer. Even if he uses a different browser like firefox, he should still update IE, because the IE components are used by many other programs too (including my plugin).

I have updated my plugin to version 2.3. As requested, it's now sending a longer HTTP header to describe the client. The version of the plugin and the host program are retreived from the version information.

2.3 is not working for me with 8.0b15 and WinXPPro. The folders I had set up with 2.1 are all gibberish characters, and double clicking on them does nothing. Right clicking on them just gives a small dialog that says there is no properties info. Went back to 2.1 and it's back to normal.

Is there something else I have to do to make 2.3 work?? Re-create my connections from scratch?

Thanks for the warning - it was a recompile error of the 32-bit Unicode version. Please re-download it. The source code is unchanged.

Link to 2.3 seems broken? 2.1 is still downloading from the TC Site.

When checking the link in the first post it indeed refers to https://plugins.ghisler.com/beta/webdav_23.zip, but when following the link this message is displayed:

This file is no longer available here!
In 10 seconds, you will be redirected to our site www.ghisler.com!

And there of course only the 2.1 version is available, since only non-beta plugins are listed.

can you please add a background button,
as large DSL uploads can take a long time.
Unfortunately plugins don't currently support background operation - especially because most plugins aren't thread-safe. I may add this in the future via a separate set of functions.
search did not respond with a newer answer of this question, so i hope it wasn't answered negative somewhere else lately...

Now, after 7-something years, any chance of having background-button for WebDav transfers soon? Maybe in TC8.0?

Really looking forward to have something like this :)

thanks!

You can specify it directly after the server name, e.g.
servername.com/path

However, this will be the base directory then, you will not be able to go up from that directory.

Please update topic start. Please add a link to the final version and update the text:
To the maintainers of clubtotal.tk and totalcmd.net: Please do NOT put this plugin on your sites yet! It is in an early beta stage.
And please update http://www.ghisler.com/plugins.htm#filesys. It still lists WebDAV version 2.1.
