ForceDel
A tool written by Zoltan Csizmadia (Tool's page), modified by me to support multiple files in command line, which greatly improves performance. Also optimized a for faster work under Windows other than NT4.

@m^2:
I have started playing two video files and then tried to execute:

Code: Select all

Command: ForceDel.exe
Parameter: %P%S
=> After ~15 seconds ForceDel window closed with the vids still playing.

A second try at least managed to delete one vid but it needed several seconds to achieve that.

=> Couldn't delete. Error = 32

First try with new version was successful. A later try gave "Error = 123" with one file.

Anyway, looks like it can really become a nice alternative or replacement for Unlocker if probs are fixed, especially with speed. Maybe you better open a separate thread for your tool for feedback... ;) You can also contact me on ICQ or mail if you need a tester.

A Nice icon editor…

Post by *Clo »

:) Hello All !

• From the XnView forum (Misc. section) we discovered a nice icon editor (freeware) able to display and process also
small images of common types like BMP, PNG, JPG etc. and amazing other features…

• The newest 1.4 version is just released, and available HERE.
- A separate download is set for the French Help ;)

• Hoping you'll like it…

Thanks for the info :-)
Also the Greenfish icon-editor looks very promising.

Hi!
Is there a tool like FlashFolder or DM2s (open/save dialog) which works on Win Vista?

Thanks

Try FileBox eXtender. It's freeware. Its 2.00.01 version claims supporting Vista.
I'm still using 1.91.05 version on my win2k system though.

I have tried FileBox eXtender (under XP). Although it works pretty nicely, it permanently steals focus from TC here, for example after closing DirSync with ESC.

Adding TC to ignore list – do not handle at all – the problem is solved.

I have strange focus problems with ver 2.00.01 too. That's why I'm still using ver 1.91.05, under win2k.

1.91.05 works flawlessly, indeed. Looks like the changes for Vista have broken the app, at least for other OSes. ;)
