Fabio,

want to express my gratitude once again for your plugin. it's very unusual as it is not PC-oriented. But still cosy and stright-logic at a time. i dare to say it may open another dimenson to TC plugins use and gives a good hint to other plugin-writers.
But questions / wishes remain:

1. Julian calendar : as per the latest beta 6 i have it shows 2 452 701,05260 for 02 March 2003. What does that mean? Julian calendar is the so called old style and 02 March 2003 of today by Gregorian modern days calendar must correspond to 17 February 2003. Normally, 14 days less than Gregorian style.

2.Easter day: can you add Jewish and Orthodox Easter Day determination? i'm not much in in Jewish calendar and cannot give you a hint but you may find it on the Net yourself but for the Orthodox Easter the rule is as follows:
Orthodox Easter is celebrated the first spring Sunday with Fullmoon after the day of spring day exinox, but not earlier than jewish Easter and not together with it.
Please reply.

Bug when selecting city

Post by *robinsiebler »

I installed the new version of the plugin, accidentally overwriting the INI file. When I tried entering my city, San Jose, I was told it wasn't found. I wasn't able to find my city until I accidentally entered 'jose'. Then, and only then, it found San Jose.

Select date format

Post by *robinsiebler »

When I click on specify date, I have to enter it in the format d/m. Since I live in the US, I would rather enter in m/d. Could you fix this?

Also, if an event happens on the date shown/selected, it would be nice if it shows up, instead of having to look for it in the Events folder.

Which brings to mind a whole new area: adding reminders, scheduling alarms, etc. I don't know where you are heading with this plugin, but there is definitely a lot of area you could cover.

Edit the file Cities.dat
The town where I live is here:
Umeå - latitude 63° 50´ N, longitud 20°15´ E

so in Cities.dat you will find this entry:
Umeå (Sverige (Sweden))=63;50;-20;15

Just add your city and you're OK.

OK for a next version.

A little bug because of the Case (acyually, everything has to be entered in LowerCase). I will correct it today.

Good idea. I will add it for a next version.

adding reminders, scheduling alarms, etc
I already add popup which fires on time for personal events. The problem is that it can't work if TC is not active and if you don't have already enter the plugin.

Fabiochelly,
My hat off to you for creating such great plugins like this one and the HTTP browser. (BTW: It took me while to figure out the strange filesizes... ;) )

Case Sensitive bug fixed?

Post by *robinsiebler »

I downloaded v1.01, selected 'Choose City' and typed in 'San Jose'. It didn't find it.
