Per extension editor choice

Post by *davitof »

I'd like to have a configuration list of editors per extension, just as there is a list for viewers. In other words, I'd like the same choice for F4 we currently have for F3.

Use choiceeditor or openfile4tc.
F6, Enter, Tab, F6, Enter, Tab, F6, Enter, Tab... - I like to move IT, move IT!..

poiuytr,

No, precisely. What you showed me, and which I already knew, is the options for the viewer. The viewer can be specified on a per extension basis. The editor is global. What I sugest is allowing to specify the editors on a per extension basis, just like for the viewer

XPEHOPE3KA,

googling for openfile4tc brought only one of TC's forum pages, but choiceeditor seems to be the solution indeed. Thanks!

Full name is Open File Shell For TC:
http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/OpenFileTC.html
Unfortunately, ChoiceEditor is no longer developed; so maybe, it's better to use OFTC.
Flint's Homepage: Full TC Russification Package, VirtualDisk, NTFS Links, NoClose Replacer, and other stuff!

Using TC 10.52 / Win10 x64
