Ignore list and deleting folders

There is a new option in TC7 - Ignore list. It seems to be useful in some cases.
Unfortunately when you try to delete folder with ignored files it's impossible. I understand it's not a bug but it's done by design (probably for security reasons). But there is no info why I can't delete it. It would be nice if there was at least an info that there are some ignored files. The best solution (for me) would be such information with a question what to do - delete the folder anyway or ignore it.

Yes, I can confirm this.
It is for security, but not very convenient :)

I must switch 'cm_SwitchIgnoreList' before.

Maybe, a Information that ignores Files are in the Folder were useful.

e.g.

Code: Select all

This Folder include ignored Files, do you delete them? [YES] [NO]

I support it.
Deleting a folder containing ignored file(s) or folder(s) giving an generic message : "folder could not be deleted", without mentioning that it is due to an ignored content.

Bump.

I also support this request. Is it planned?

The problem is that the top level functions in TC don't even see these ignored files any more, they are hidden already within FindFirst/FindNext...

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I delete some Folders/Subfolders from my HD.
Suddenly "The directory ... could not be deleted!"

Why!? What's that? Panic!
Oh, I forget the Ignorelist (desktop.ini, thumbs.db), sh*t

This is not very convenient.

Is there really no solution, to request whether or not ignored file exists?
