[REQ] toggling EXE\LNK icons on cdrom

Post by *deedstyger »

it would be nice if i d have an option to disable icon extraction for files on cd-rom like the floppy and net options.

my lg 52x cdrw tires much when it has a main cd folder with 100 .exe's waiting their icons to be extracted..

:) sometimes to rewrite it, I have to READ it. And sometimes this can be licensed CD with some stupid protection like starforce!

There should be a check box just like "EXE/LNK not on floppy" and "EXE/LNK not on net"

I agree, yet CD/DVD are always slower than hard disks, and when you have a folder with many exe it could take some time before it gives back control to the user.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
