We have several examples of cm_RereadSource failing:
Tortoise overlay icons disappear on commit
Keine eingefärbten Dateinamen, ohne Anzeige von -s-h-Dateien Sorry that is in german, but the point is, when hidden files are not shown, the automatic colouring based on the comments stored in the descript.ion file have no effect immediately or even after a refresh.
IMHO it is time to introduce a new command for refreshing everything, as if we entered the directory for the first time. This way we dont break the existing functionality of cm_RereadSource, but have a way to circumvent the obvious flaws of cm_RereadSource.
Christian, do you like that idea?

Well, Ghisler stated some good reasons in the tortoisesvn thread. I dont think he well be willing to change a key functionality so much. And besides, it is working great for autorefresh for example, lets leave it that way. We just need a new command, thats all.
