Fellow file manager author Sven Ritter reported in his blog Unmanaged Things (German) about the possibility of data loss when copying using the CopyFileEx function under Windows Vista. This function is also used in Total Commander when the "Compatibility mode" is activated (under Configuration - Options - Copy/Delete).
Can anyone reproduce any data loss when copying using Compatibility mode under Windows Vista?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

As posted in the German forum, it seems to be a false alarm caused by some RAID1 drivers.
