I just installed the 7zip-plugin V0.6.1. There seems to be a another bug :
The plugin can't extract an archive (link below) created with 7-zip 4.64 (read error before the end). Integrity check also fails with the plugin.
This problem doesn't occur with plugin V0.5.8, nor with 7-zip 4.64 (using the same archive).
Thanks.

Hi Duny,
nice work! Can you please make the source public too.
Regards, Norbert |

@gnozal8:
The read error occurs on every files that were compressed NOT using the Ultra compression level. In other words, ONLY Ultra-level compressed files are accessible.
@Norbert:
I can't help wondering too. AFAIK, LGPL is for open source software. The source code should have been available for download in the first place. |

| I just tested the new 0.6.2.2 version with about 100 7-Zip files and I can confirm that the write error during unpacking is fixed. |

| Maximum password length for The 7zip plug-in is 63 characters. 7-zip application allow longer password. Please, could author extend password length in TC plug-in to 128 characters? |

OK. I have tested v0.6.2.2. Seems quite stable.
It can even create the exact same binary with the one from the standalone 7-Zip 4.64 (using the exact same settings). The only difference is the archive date.
I hope there will be a setting similar to the zip packer's "Set ZIP date to newest file date", so that it can preserve the original date.
Good work by the way, Duny. |

Version. 0.622:
With this version, self-extracting archives can only be created when compression method is set to LZMA or PPMd? All others (deflate, deflate64, BZip2) will cause an "Error packing files" pop up window.
It was OK on 0.61 & 0.58. |

I hardly understand why it's disabled.
7zip probably doesn't have the option to choose deflate/deflate64/Bzip2 method for self-extracting files, which means users actually don't have the chance to see an error window.
On the other hand, isn't it good that 7z wcx can do more than the program? |

Hi Duny,
thanks for adding the sfx-option.
Deleting of files and folders works well with V0.6.3 .
Some other small bugs:
- If the archive contains files with a length of 0 bytes Total Commander crashes with an access violation when extracting these files.
- If you create a solid archive containing files with an exe-extension the archive will contain several streams instead of 1. |

Hi!
I've made the hungarian translation for "wcx_7zip_0.6.3".
Where should I send it?
Take care,
