Installation of Help File: Either German Or English

If an "international" installation is done (i.e. all language files are installed) then either the english or the german help file is installed. It would be fine if the english help file will be installed at %COMMANDER_PATH%\TOTALCMD.HLP ever and all other help files will be installed at %COMMANDER_PATH%\LANGUAGE\WCMD_xxx.HLP additional.

Hi, Norfie².
Would this not qualify as a feature request rather than as a bug report?
And yes, it would be really helpful, if the English helpfile were installed always and the localized helpfile put into the language sub-folder.
Support.

That's indeed a feature request. The per language hlp files were added only for the U3 portable version, where it isn't possible to make per language installations. Normally a German user will prefer the German help even if he has to switch the user interface to English for some reason...

Hello, Christian.

Agreed.
Yet, whenever a user of a non-English version, e.g. of a German version, wishes to quote some paragraph from the helpfile in the English speaking T.C. forums, (s)he will need to open the English helpfile.
Kind regards,
Karl
