Hi,

TC7.5b2 crashed when I tried to compare two text files.

What I did:
1. Selected the two files in the left window.
2. Clicked "Compare by Content" (in german translated main menu)

This only happened once.
After re-starting TC, the compare function worked without problems.

That's the crash dump:

My checks show that the code is an out of resources error. How big were these two files?

The first file has 14787 bytes (87 lines)
The second file has 15351 bytes (111 lines)

So, they are not very large.
If it really is a resource issue, maybe it had something to do with the file comparisons I have done before (many). Maybe some handles had not been closed?
If it happens again, I will inform you.

I have never had a problem with so small files. Do you get this error with any files, or just with these two? In the second case, it would be great to get the two files for test purposes (beta@ghisler.com).

As I wrote, it only happened once. - I tried to reproduce it, but TC works without problems, since that happened.

Unfortunatly I cannot give you the files, because these are confidential customer files.

But if it happens again, with these or different files, I definitely let you know!
