[1] When renaming a file that has a comment, the filename in descript.ion isn't renamed.
[2] Very Minor: TCMD opening pop-up still shows '2002' _________________ ...BRB... |

[1] is resolved by enabling the copying of comments in the configuration. By default it's off for performance reasons, because most people don't zse comments.
[2] Arrgh, and I thought that I had found all... The about box should show 2003, though. _________________ Author of Total Commander

There's another bug. I reported it on the old forum and as it wasn't corected maybe I should do this again.
Ctrl+Left (Ctrl+Right) on files with zero size doesn't transfer directory to inactive panel. AFAIK this happens on WinXP and Win2000 systems. |

Poor decision
Do you prefer users questions Why? And there attitude to Total Commander as uncompleted software? It must be ON anyway. Even I receive several letters in a month with silly questions from users who use comments feature but didn't changed default options. And how can you state that:

I can say that most users use comments. _________________ Wincmd.ru WWW.TOTALCMD.NET

Really, can you? When I made my last questionnaire, comments were almost at the END of the user wishes... _________________ Author of Total Commander

Oeps, I missed this. I did a new installation of v5.51 and didn't remember I had to turn this option on. The name "copy comments with files" is not very clear about the renaming stuff, nor is the help.
IMHO this feature should be called someting like:
"Intergrate comments with filehandeling" or
"Use 'active' comments" (with a specification what 'active' means in the help file)
this would make it clearer that you have to check this option if you want to use the comments feature to it's full extent, not only with the copying but also renaming (and what ever more..)

Most users will probably have the splash screen turned off and will never notice _________________ ...BRB... |

Yet another bug.
In comments view file name wasn't shown in the tooltip when pointing on zero description. |

I suppose this behavior is correct.
But I have another comments-related notice. The panel in "Comments" mode still contains useless tub hider "Attr". I guess it would be logical to get rid of it and add "Comments" instead with sorting ability to "equalize in rights" this file attribute with others. And I guess, appropriative i.c. would be a good idea too (cm_SrcByComment etc.).
BTW, Chrisian, what do you think about new internal command cm_ShowOnlyCommented to show only files with comments? _________________ The Protoss do NOT run from their enemies.

Because I suppose it correct, of course!
Joking apart, as for me I don't need any not comments-related information in "Comments" mode (i.e. pop-ups with file names). And if I'll do need them I can get them easily by moving cursor over "Name"&"Ext" tabs. But I guess this can be a customizable feature... _________________ The Protoss do NOT run from their enemies.
