Sorry I can't test it in Wine. Could you provide screenshots? Does it work with TCs standard Quicksearch?

If you use a wdx plugin that supports to return all text of a file then it should be possible. Unfortunately I can't try it right now.

Hello,

is there a fast way (keyboard) to clear the filter ? I'm often use the search to find files, but then the filter is still set, even if I'm done with the file. I have to leave the directory or manually clear the filter. Is there a faster way ?

Many thanks

Hey, thank you. Even one ESC is enough. Great.

Many thanks

Not a very important question but maybe someone knows the answer.

I noted that I can't see the icons:
- match only at the beginning of files/words
- case sensitive
- invert the results

They are all empty white icons

The only icon I see is the icon with the text Ctrl-s

What did I wrong?
(I have the latest release july 2013 and TC 8.51b3)

I just tested that the icons are used in TC 32 / 64. I don't, know what the reason behind this could be.

I use the version TC 64 (without the TC 32 binaries)

Hello

I've stuck with composing in QucikSearch eXtended a bit more complex search queries with negator conditions, than those simple examples described in the manual (providing, that the the plugin grants such functionality in principle, I don't sure).

Could anybody help to compose the query to find:

1) filenames, which include the words [cat], but not [dog].

2) filenames, which include the words [cat] AND [dog], but not [frog].

3) filenames, which include the words [cat] OR [dog], but not [frog].

4) filenames, which include the words [cat] and [dog], but neither [frog] nor [bird] .

I've read carefully the manual and spent more than an hour for tens of tests (including multiple variants with | and round brackets), but have not got any success.

Many thanks in advance!

In the manual there is a small chapter about "Reg Ex - Regular Expressions". Do you know the syntax of RegEx and have you tested it?
