Switching default style from "-" to default fixed line-numbers/vertical margin but not horiz ruler.
I've never seen it correctly.

30April2012

Greetings.

Starting with 3.51120 SyW is displaying
Code:
{(default)}
at the beginning of the titlebar on my XP laptops.
I have no idea why.
I have go into Options, deselect "Show full path", quit SyW,
then restart SyW and reselect "Sfp";
but for some unknown reason(s) SyW will later/again start displaying
Code:
{(default)}
at the beginning of the titlebar ...

{name} means "Sessions <name> is opened". So u have option "Save/restore last session" and (default) session used.

Very impressed editor. Thank you.

Suggestion:
Edit > Blank operations > Reduce blank lines

to reduce two or more blank lines to one single blank line.

Sorry, sometimes the "View new posts" seems to peculates posts.

Today i have tested "Reduce blank lines" it it works great. Thank you!

I have also played around with SynWrite a while and found it is loaded with many nifty features.
- add text to all lines
- feature rich bookmark menu
- Macros
- and many more
Great work.

I also miss some selections features,... maybe some are planed or you are interested?

* FIND with option "select to found place"
* Go To Line with option "select to that line"
* Go to next bookmark with option "select to that line"

Or perhaps an other way:
* Start an selection, then
* New feature "Enable sticky selection",
then use
Find
or
GoTo Line/Bookmark
which extend the selection.

And how about this features:
* select whole current paragraph
* Jump to next blank line (after an non-blank line) aka Jump over paragraph
* Restore last selection

I think this belongs to that good editor.

.
