Thanks for your report - could it be that you connected with Ctrl+N (FTP new connection)? I can reproduce it now, but only when connecting this way and not via a stored connection...

I'd like to confirm the posted bug.

TC Version: 7.55 beta 2.
Used previously saved FTP-connection.
Files on server are filtered by date (today).

Trying to copy several files from FTP-server I got similar error (cannot post an image yet).

7.50a and 7.55 beta 1 do this operation without any problem.

Indeed it's because of the added feature to send commands to the server when connecting. This value is empty (NULL pointer) when making a new connection with Ctrl+N. Don't worry, it cannot do any harm.

It does no harm, indeed. But it also doesn't copy files

Cannot reproduce an error and files are copying fine in background on TC 7.55PB3, so bug seems to be fixed.
