Echo this, 7zip is the only plugin I use for TC, I could switch to 64bit RC fulltime if I had it |

Even if you don't use the x64 TC you should understand the requests for a x64 version of this valueable plugin. I would not realy call this spam. |

if the same poster asks 3 (!) times the same question about 64bit version, i call this spamming.
/edit: ok, spamming might be the wrong word. maybe flooding is a better one. at least, its annoying. but maybe it's only me. _________________ licenced and happy TC user since 1994 (#1xxx) |

ElQuia, it won't speed your request up if you write it multiple times, but it may annoy other posters and topic starter.
One thing is to repeat question if topic starter had answered some other posts except yours and some new topic pages were added...
But completely other thing is to repeat same question at the same topic page when topic starter haven't answered at all yet.
So I agree with TW's post about flood. _________________ VirtualPanel plugin: Temporary panel for TC (forum)

2ElQuia
You cant compare a PLUGIN-Author to Christian.
Christians works on TC is for a living
Plugin Author do it for free.
And Insiting on this board by flooding is spamming on every board i know... |

I have an issue with this plugin. Excuse me if i'm out of line here / already requested but i don't have the time to read the whole thread to check if this has already been reported.
Here goes. I'm using Win7-64 bit with TC7.56 (32bit of course). Total7zip just does not work. I've installed 7zip under "Program Files (x86)" and when i try to press Enter on an .iso or .7z file, i get this message: "7-zip library is not found. Download 7-Zip". Does Total7zip check under "Program Files (x86)" for 7zip?
Please note: UAC is disabled
Any suggestions? TIA. _________________

Even for the x86 version of TC do the following:
Install the x64 version of 7-zip and set the pathes in total7zip.xml as follows:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<settings>
<lister_plugin fontColor="0" bgColor="16777215" fontSize="10" fontFx="0" font="Courier New" />
<gui lang="" />
<debug logLevel="0" />
<path path_7z_dll="7z.dll" path_7zG_exe="7zG.exe" />
<path64bit path_7zG_exe="c:\Program Files\7-Zip\7zG.exe" /> |

Well, i found the solution! I'm placing it here for future reference.
Following Horst.Epp's directions (thanx man), i changed the XML but i did that under the Total7zip plugin folder. When executed for the first time, this xml is copied in the same folder as TC's INI file. I accidentally found that just now. As soon as i deleted the xml from TC's folder, everything worked fine! The "already fixed" xml was re-copied from the plugin folder to the INI folder, the plugin used that and worked like a charm. _________________
