New translation strings TC 8.0B16

Post by *petermad »

12.01.12 Added: Hints in multi-rename tool for options 1x and [E] (only shown when translation exists) (32/64)
For those who are interested (translators) - the new strings are:

1737="Replace only once per file"
1738="Replace also in file extensions"

12.01.12 Added: Allow to translate new media audio remote menu (32/64)
Anyone who knows what this is about, and where to translate?

07.12.11 Added: wincmd.ini [Configuration] MediaRemote=1 use windows media remote to control TC (default: 0): Cursor+OK as usual, <- Backspace, i directory hotlist, >| Tab, |< Ctrl+Tab, Play/Pause Command menu, Stop ESC in dialogs, select file in lists (32/64)
Menu looks like this:
1 Drive dropdown list
2 Rename...
3 View
4 Edit
5 Copy...
6 Move...
7 New folder (directory)
8 Delete
9 Main menu
Tab menu
Context menu
0 Properties
I guess it's almost recycling of already existing strings.

Regards
Holger

Thanks guys

Here are the translation strings for the mediaremote:

1744="Rename"
1745="View"
1746="Edit"
1747="Copy"
1748="Move"
1749="New folder"
1750="Delete"
1751="Main menu"
1752="Tab menu"
1753="Context menu"
1754="Properties"

So that accounts for all except "Drive dropdown list"

What IDs do "Main menu", "Tab menu" and "Context menu" have?

If you by ID mean what commands, it must be:

Tab menu = 3009 = cm_DirTabsShowMenu
Context menu = 2500 = cm_ContextMenu

There isn't any cm_command for Main menu (F9 or F10)

Forget my question. I had to be blind (or went to make coffee while editing ;) because you had answered it just before me.

BTW I think I've found a bug: 9 Main menu does not focus on menu (clean INI behaviour) but calls whatever function is assigned to F10 (cm_GetFileSpace here).

It is probably due to the fact that there isn't any cm_command for Main menu.

There isn't any Windows function to focus the main menu, therefore this function is just sending an F10 keystroke...

What about the first entry in the media audio remote menu? If a .lng file is in use, it shows what corresponds to string 5106="Show d&rive combobox", but using internal English it shows: "Drive dropdown list".

Aren't there missing a separate translation string for item 1 in that menu?

Sorry, it uses string 5106, there is no separate translation for this menu item.
