|
|
It seems I have changed something in that I used to be able to navigate jar files using TC (as an archive file), but now they are associated with java (which, of course, makes sense) but now I cannot navigate into them any more TC tries to make them "run" -
How can I reassociate .jar files, such that I can navigate them as an archive again?
Many thanks for your help.

I've just tested on some .jar files found on my hd.
You can navigate into them by striking Ctrl+PgDn _________________ Benoît

It is because you have installed a Java Runtime Environment (Suns JRE).
If you place the carret on a .jar file and enter "Files" -> "Associate With.." you can probably change/remove the .jar entry.
However since some Java applications are distributed in executable jar files it could probably have consequences - so be carefull.
If you know you don't use Java standalone applications the there should be no trouble removing "javaw.exe" from .jar files. _________________ http://www.dotnetforum.dk/blogs/soren.olesen/ |
