Hi,
this is my first post. I have just purchased a licence for TC and I like it very much.
There is one suggestion I would like to make: forgive me if it has already been mentioned.
In NexusFile you can choose to display the list style in a pane as AutoList. So for example, if I go into a parent folder with 100 subfolders and files, I will see only the name of each item.
But if I go into one of these subfolders, which itself has maybe 30 subfolders and files, I might see the name, the extension and the size of these child folders.
And, finally, if I then go into one of these subfolders at the third level, which itself has maybe only 5 subfolders and files, I will see the name, extension, size, modification date, and more.
The amount of detail in the view depends on how many folders and files are displayed. Fewer folders and files automatically display more information. They default automatically to detailed or full view. More folders and files in a pane automatically defaults to Brief view, with perhaps just extension and size.
Backspacing automatically respects this as well, so it is dynamic.
This is a nice feature of NexusFile and if it is easy to implement I would like to see it in TC.
Thank you,
Gerard. |

To calculate folder size under the cursor, press <Space>.
To calculate all folders size, press <Ctrl+Alt+Enter>.
Also you can try DirSizeCalc to auto calculate folder size. _________________ █████ Author of Ultra TC Editors

He is asking about a feature, that would automatically add/remove additional columns based on a number of files in current folder. Basically an automatic switching between Brief mode and Full mode (with a few transitional stages). _________________ Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows 8 Pro x64 |

Yes, that is correct. Thank you for making it a bit clearer! |
