1. Create a RAR archive with a text file, so that this text file contained spaces in its name (the archive name may contain no spaces, it doesn't matter).
2. Enter the archive, open the text file for editing, modify it, save and close the editor (if the editor is MDI, press the "Close" button in the waiting dialog in TC).
3. Agree to re-pack the modified file back to the archive.
4. TC calls WinRAR, but error message is displayed about failure to find the file.
Investigation revealed that TC cuts off the first letter of the file name, replacing it with a double quote. In my case there was the archive f:\Temp\test.rar containing file test file.txt, and WinRAR was invoked with the following command line:
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe" a -c- f:\Temp\test.rar "est file.txt
