Hiding files doesn't work on 2nd SDCard

Post by *utmuk »

I have 3 phones. On 2 of them hiding files works OK on both SDCards (sdcard/sdcard2 on 1st and sdcard/external_sd on 2nd). But on one it works only for the first SDCard (sdcard0) and doesn't work for the second (sdcard1)

I think hiding files feature doesn't work on external sd card.
Only on the internal card.

I don't know why but your words made me doubt :-). So I rechecked - and I confirm again that it works on 2 of my phone very well - Lenovo A789 and Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos. But doesn't work on Lenovo A820

The difference is that on one device, the path to the external card is below the internal card. Therefore this setting (which is meant for the internal card) also applies to the external card...

That is really true for Galaxy Ace Duos but not for Lenovo A789 :-) /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/sdcard2 respectively and no links between them

It looks like TC just compares the start of the path (/mnt/sdcard)...
